The necessity of entrepreneurship as a career in the economic development process in the modern world, the need for entrepreneurship education is immense to create opportunities for self-employment by establishing business and industrial establishments and successfully managing them.



The rapid expansion of enterprise education as a distinct branch of knowledge is a new feature of modern management education.



Entrepreneurship education refers to that branch of knowledge,

which broadens and expands a student's path to developing latent qualities, increases self-confidence and special abilities,

encourages innovative creative and challenging work and inspires the ability to set up new business enterprises and acquire the ability to manage them successfully.





This education enhances a person's sense of social responsibility and inspires them to enter the profession.





The need for entrepreneurship education as a profession with the basic concept of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship is discussed



1. Gaining the idea of initiative: In order to achieve the goals of the organization and create the interest of the employees to work according to their own abilities and encourage them to do risky work, initiative education is needed. Through entrepreneurship education one can gain knowledge about business concept, project creation, project selection, business planning etc.

Encouraging and taking initiative in innovative and risky work: Encouraging a young person to do innovative, creative and risky work to achieve the goals of the organization, creating interest in working according to one's own ability and being motivated to do risky work is very important. Enhancing sense of responsibility: Taking initiative education widens and expands the way to develop latent qualities of a person, increases self-confidence and analytical power, self-reliance and talent development and he is careful about duties and responsibilities. This education helps a person to engage in various productive and service-oriented activities.

From the observation, it has been seen that all the students of Commerce Faculty of Dhaka University, who have studied entrepreneurship course, have accepted business as a profession at a higher rate than other courses.

Creating the possibility of achieving success: Through initiative education, a person can acquire the qualification to take self-employment initiative on the one hand, and on the other hand, he is able to increase the possibility of achieving success.

Creation of entrepreneurial class: The main reason behind the backwardness of Bangladesh industry is the lack of real entrepreneurs.

Potential creation of entrepreneurial class is considered as a prerequisite for economic development and industrialization of a country. An entrepreneur is an entrepreneur by birth - today this idea has changed.

The famous psychologist McClelland has proven through research that those who have a desire to achieve, can be trained to become entrepreneurs.

It is necessary to include entrepreneurship courses at various levels of education to create a new entrepreneurial class to accelerate the pace of industrialization in the country.

Realizing the importance of entrepreneurship education in Bangladesh, this subject has been included in the curriculum at the technical and higher secondary levels.

Development of self-confidence and talent



4. The main objective of inclusion of industrial courses at the technical level is to create self-confidence among the students and open the way to develop their own talent. Those who cannot study due to various obstacles should take business as a way of earning a living.

Apart from that, the purpose of industrialization course is to make students aware about self-employment or business as a respectable profession.



Finally, in the light of the above discussion, it can be said that there is an immense need for entrepreneurship education to facilitate the self-employment by developing the development of talent, innovative energy and enthusiasm of the people of the country by establishing industrial and business institutions.
